Technical Group The IM Technology Subcommittee's main objective is to track IM server implementations and vendor technology in the marketplace. The IM Technology Subcommittee will follow developments within the IM Protocol Standards Track of the IETF. In addition, participating technologists will discuss their internal implementations with an eye toward interoperability. The IM Technology Subcommittee will provide "birds-of-a-feather" sessions for firms looking to establish interoperability as well as technical guidance and presentations to FIMA regarding IM solutions.
