Vendor Group - Drive interop and protocol convergence between the IM Service vendors - Provide a forum for vendors to showcase their products and services in line with the offerings from various IM service providers encompassing cross-platform support - Develop a vendor matrix with distinct categories of applications. Group Structure: The VWG will have scheduled discussions with IM Service providers to work thru interop, protocol convergence, federation and other issues in conjunction with requirements that are inputted from the other working groups of FIMA (Technical and User). Additionally, the VWG will interface with all financial services providers and other technology partners to leverage presence frameworks into their products. Vendor partners will be allowed to showcase their offerings via Onsite/Virtual sessions. This will be scheduled during periodic intervals and during FIMA onsite meetings.
